Scarlett Johansson was recently interviewed by Vulture at the premiere for ‘Hitchcock’, and she talked about how she and Anthony Hopkins [who plays the titular character of Alfred Hitchcock in the film] shared a Marvel connection. Hopkins plays Odin in the Thor films while Scarlett plays Black Widow.
She talks about she bonded with Hopkins over the connection, saying, "We're [both] part of the Marvel universe. We compared, contrasted our notes, our experiences ... how wonderful Chris Hemsworth [who plays Thor] and Tom Hiddleston [who plays Loki] are. It was nice to be able to share our stories of on-set experiences. We have a mutual love for them, so strongly."
She is also asked, since she seems to like Tom Hiddleston a lot, whether she considers herself a ‘Hiddlestoner’ – something true Tom Hiddleston fans call themselves. She replies, "Oh, no, really? That sounds like such a loaded question."
While she doesn’t answer the question, it’s clear that she is a fan of Tom Hiddleston and Chris Hemsworth, and pretty much says so. While it’s not clear whether Hiddleston will return for ‘Avengers 2’, she and Hemsworth are locked in to the next few sequels. Meanwhile, ‘Hitchcock’ releases on November 23rd and co-stars Anthony Hopkins, Helen Mirren, and Jessica Biel.
